We are thrilled to share a major milestone from our headquarters in Rahden, Germany. A brand-new KOLBUS RD 115S flexo rotary die-cutter has officially been tested, disassembled, carefully loaded into containers, and is now on its way across the high seas to its new home at Sultana Packaging!
Before the machine was prepared for its long journey, our proud engineering and assembly team gathered for a quick photo in front of this high-performance powerhouse.
Why is this a significant step for Sultana Packaging?
For nearly a decade, Sultana Packaging has successfully run Hycorr rotary die-cutters on their production floor. To support their long-term modernization program and increase their market share in direct-print, high-graphics packaging, they visited our factory in Rahden to see our engineering standards firsthand.
We are incredibly proud that they have placed their trust in our latest “Made in Germany” technology. The modular, fully servo-driven RD 115S will empower them to scale up print quality and boost production speeds up to 12,000 sheets per hour.
We want to extend a massive thank you to our skilled machine builders in Rahden for their precision work, and to the team at Sultana Packaging for their continued partnership. We can’t wait to see this machine up and running in Tijuana!
