Kolbus UK move complete -and welcomes a new era with Max Valier Holding acquisition

Kolbus UK has completed its move to new premises - Trinity Hall Business Park, Hockliffe, Bedfordshire. The move coincides with the announcement that Max Valier Holding has finalised acquisition of parent company Kolbus Group GmbH.

Dr. Thomas Grimm-Bosbach will head up the new Kolbus Group GmbH. He said: “I am impressed by the user-friendliness, quality, and efficiency of Kolbus. These attributes have secured its position in the market. This acquisition also highlights Kolbus' long-standing commitment to craftsmanship, including 125 years of iron casting in its own foundry. Together with Max Valier Holding, we are poised to reinforce Kolbus’ reputation as an engineering powerhouse while driving innovation and modernization.”

Throughout the UK and Ireland, Kolbus UK will continue to supply sales, service and spare parts for the full Kolbus range of equipment: book casemakers, luxury box production systems, corrugated boxmakers, and a high quality rotary die-cutter. Additionally, the Meccanotecnica range of book production solutions and Schmedt bookbinding machines will be supported.

The new Kolbus UK facility, Trinity Hall Business Park, is conveniently located on the A5 Watling Street, with easy access to the M1 at junction 11A. The nearest railway station, Leighton Buzzard, is just three miles away.
